Renovation of the primary cooling system at WTC 3

24 September 2024
On September 6th, the renovation of the entire primary cooling system (chillers and cooling towers) at the WTC 3 building in the Brussels North District was successfully completed after six months of work.

Thanks to this successful yet highly complex renovation, the building's electricity consumption will decrease by 990 MWh annually. This represents a 15% reduction in the building's total energy consumption, equivalent to the annual usage of approximately 250 households.

This remarkable achievement was made possible through the close collaboration between Befimmo, Spie, Greisch, and Hysopt.
