PLXL transforms 14,300 m² of existing infrastructure into a modern campus for two secondary schools and a community centre.

On Tuesday 17 June 2025, the symbolic first stone of a new multifunctional school campus was laid. This marks the official start of a project made possible thanks to a public-private partnership with the Flemish Community Commission (VGC).

Sustainability is approached through a combination of circularity, energy performance, water management, biodiversity and active mobility. Each of these dimensions contributes to a lower environmental footprint while supporting the needs of students and staff on site.

Beyond its sustainable initiatives, the project will bring new life to the area.
