On 3 November 2026, ZIN won the International High-Rise Award 2026/27 at Frankfurt’s Paulskirche. It was chosen from more than 1,000 towers completed worldwide and five international finalists.

The jury rewarded a different idea of what a tower can be:

• Transformation instead of demolition: we kept the cores of the former WTC towers and gave them a new life
• Mixed-use: offices, homes, a hotel, and public spaces under one roof
• A good neighbour: a building that brings the Brussels North District to life, day and night

We share this award with our architects 51N4E, l'AUC and Jaspers-Eyers Architects, and with everyone who helped build ZIN and brings it to life every day. Thank you!
