Europ Assistance is relocating and moving into the Central building by Befimmo!
As of November 2021, the employees of Europ Assistance will move into Befimmo’s Central building, located near Central Station in Brussels. There, they will occupy an area of just over 2,000 m² and so will join other prestigious tenants such as De Standaard and Ogilvy Social Lab.
Central meets all the criteria of Europ Assistance.
“We chose Central because it offers inspiring workspaces, with offices on a single floor, which will foster collaboration and discussions among colleagues. In addition to its historic character, the building benefits from an excellent location in terms of accessibility and is extremely well served by public transport. That’s a major asset not only for our current colleagues, but also for attracting new young talents,” says Hilde Goethuys, HR Director at Europ Assistance.
“We are very pleased to welcome Europ Assistance to Central, in the very heart of the capital. It’s a unique building both in terms of its history and its architecture, which we wanted to make more sustainable with a high-quality renovation, but above all in line with our vision of the evolution of the world of work, which aims to be more hybrid, more flexible and at the service of its tenants. Central is a Befimmo pilot project in which we will include a new Silversquare designed by Maniera, innovative solutions for meeting rooms, etc. We are delighted to move in alongside Europ Assistance. Finally, we are confident that Central will allow the employees of Europ Assistance to excel in achieving their ambitions and their future objectives,” comments Cédric Mali, Chief Commercial Officer at Befimmo.
Central is ideally located in the centre of Brussels, near public transport, and includes 23,000 m² of offices, coworking spaces managed by Silversquare, shops, restaurants, a secured car park for cars and bicycles, and a beautiful terrace on the roof of the building offering a magnificent view over the capital.
In this vibrant neighbourhood, teeming with shops, hotels, cultural venues (the Grand Place, BOZAR, the Royal Library, the Royal Palace) and parks, Central offers flexible state-of-the-art offices and numerous services, for an ultimate work life balance.
Silversquare Central, the eighth coworking space of the European pioneer, will soon open its doors. Silversquaere will offer flexible solutions in an environment designed by the MANIERA Design Gallery, specialising in furniture produced by architects and artists such as Doorzon, Piovenefabi and Christoph Hefti. It’s an energising coworking space made to meet, innovate and perform.
Very soon, Befimmo is also going to move into this building that’s rich in history, with a modern vision. The new Befimmo headquarters reflects its vision of the new hybrid world of work, where it’s good to work, meet, share and live.
