The building is designed to meet high sustainability standards. To limit the embodied carbon of the redevelopment, priority was given to preserving most of the structures rather than opting for demolition and reconstruction. The building envelope will minimise the need for heating, cooling and lighting, ensuring optimal comfort while lowering energy consumption.
