Real Estate Starter Programme: young talent, bright future
What if you are graduating in a technical or management field and are intrigued by the real estate sector? Well, then Befimmo’s Real Estate Starters Programme is the way to get to know the sector. During three project of eight months each, participants get a golden opportunity to discover the versatility of real estate projects. With this programme, Befimmo aims to give the best talent on the market every opportunity.
Who can participate in the programme?
Befimmo’s Real Estate Starters Programme is for young people who have just graduated from university, or are about to obtain their degree. They have no professional experience, but already showed their ambition by the choice of their former internships.
The participants must be known as high-potentials. In addition, they must be fluent in several languages, including English and one of our national languages.
Tailored to young talents
Participants of course receive a permanent contract. Depending on their preference and diploma, we develop a personal career path within the most suitable department: invest, asset management, sustainability, project or controlling.
Moreover, participants use the programme to expand their network, gain experience and learn about projects. Through a customised training and mentoring programme, they hone their skills to help shape Befimmo’s future.

The first young talent participating in this unique programme has already been announced. Alexis Vandamme started on 4 September as a Junior Real Estate Officer within our Asset Management team.
Alexis holds a Master in Business Economics (UAntwerpen) and a Master in International Management & Strategy (Vlerick Business School). After several internships, including one at Besix in Ivory Coast, he decided to apply spontaneously through the Real Estate Starters Programme. He will further refine his expertise under the guidance of his mentors Olivier De Bisscop and Christophe le Fevere. Welcome, Alexis!
