Befimmo nominated for the Belgian Business Awards for the Environment !
We are very pleased to inform you that Befimmo is one of the 10 nominated companies by the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (FEB) for the 16th edition of the Belgian Business Awards for the Environment.
In 2017, Befimmo decided to revise its energy-related environmental objectives on the basis of the methodology proposed by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi), contributing to limiting the rise of the global average temperature below 2 °C.
The environmental impact related to energy is therefore taken into account in strategic decisions through a new internal decision-making tool. It is this instrument that has been praised, selected and nominated by a jury of experts.
Thanks to this tool, Befimmo has taken the ambitious decision to reduce the average specific CO2 emissions (kgCO2 / m²) by 33% by 2030.
